Hey! I’m Emily, and my husband Isaiah and I are all about community. We love to meet new people and create meaningful connections and relationships. We also think hosting is a bit of a lost art, and though we are by no means perfect, we love the idea of Adopted Adults and would love to host and travel with other future friends. We believe in the dignity of every person, the care of the earth, and that most people are pretty cool if you give them a chance. We enjoy hiking, animals, good food, sports (both playing and watching), board/card games, live music, reading, and good conversation.
Something I only understood after leaving home
Travel is a beautiful, romantic notion. And for good reason. But it also makes you realize how sweet it is to have people you love waiting for you to come home.
Something I could teach anyone in ten minutes
Cribbage. Okay… maybe longer than 10 minutes (give me an hour maybe? But worth it I promise)
