Something a stranger did for me that I've never forgotten
In Laos, I stumbled upon a small family farm while looking for a hidden waterfall. I offered to help with the work and somehow stayed for a week. We worked, fished and shared meals together. They treated me like family. One of my favorite travel memories.
The thing I'll talk about for far too long
Food, definitely. I love cooking, being cooked for, and discovering a place through what people eat. Some of my best travel memories started around a table. And knowing there are still thousands of dishes I've never tasted is reason enough to keep travelling.
