I'm an American who married a Kiwi and is now living the dream in New Zealand while visiting the U.S. as much as I can. When hiking I'm 1/2 as fast as my husband so I make sure he carries the conversation on the uphill climbs, and I enjoy making whole food, healthy treats in the kitchen (with ~50% success rate of them turning out). I love the slow pace lifestyle of hanging our washing out to dry in the sun and feeding our chickens food scraps from breakfast.
