The best advice I've been given by a local
“Don’t try to see everything. Stay somewhere long enough to have a favourite bakery shop or supermarket.” A local told me this early in my travels, and it completely changed the way I travel. I’d rather have a few places that feel like home than rush through a long list of sights.
A thing I'm bad at and have made peace with
Learning languages and, especially, getting the pronunciation right. I’ll happily practice a phrase 20 times and still somehow say it wrong. 😄
