Something a stranger did for me that I've never forgotten
When I was 10, I met an old man in a train station in China. He spoke no English and I spoke no Chinese, but flipping through a Chinese-English dictionary (before Google Translate!), we had a clumsy conversation and I learned that communication and connection are ALWAYS possible when we try.
The thing I'll talk about for far too long
